DouglasFORDPassed away peacefully at the Royal Derby Hospital on 3rd June 2025 aged 85 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Pat, a much loved dad to John and Jane and father in law to Jo. Dedicated grandad to Alice, Lily and Emma. He will be missed by so many family members and friends.

Doug's funeral service will take place at Trent Valley Crematorium on Tuesday 1st July at 11.30am.

Floral tributes are welcome and may be sent to the address below. If preferred, donations in memory of Doug may be given at the service or online at funeral-notices.co.uk. The donations will benefit the work of the British Heart Foundation and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

I had so much love for such a wonderful and caring person who I thought the world of.
He thought the world of all them people that were so close to him especially Jane, john, Jo, Alice, Emma and Lily. His family meant everything.
Well my mate Doug you will always have a special place in my heart. You will be so missed by everyone.
